Friends of Vafa in Canada uses every opportunity to introduce the shelter to the public.

Recently, Giti Safaei, the manager of Vafa’s events, arranged a table at the Farmers Market of Sunnybrook hospital. Thursday, May 20th, two board members, Giti & Soudabeh Majidi who is an artist, presented Vafa’s table. Apart from introducing Vafa Shelter, they also sold items including totes bags painted on by Soudabeh, as well as several other handmade objects donated by other Vafa’s friends. They were able to raise funds for the 2 branches of Vafa shelter.

They presented Vafa’s table at the market again on June 10^th along with Nasimeh, another dedicated friend of Vafa.

غرفه دوستان وفا در فارمرز مارکت

دوستان وفا در کانادا از هر فرصتی برای معرفی سازمانشون به عموم استفاده میکنند.

در تازه ترین اقدام، به همت گیتی صفایی مدیر برنامه های وفا، میزی در بازار کشاورزان بیمارستان سانی بروک در اختیار دوستان وفا قرار گرفت و روز پنجشنبه 20 می، دو عضو هیئت مدیره، گیتی و سودابه مجیدی که از هنرمندان گروه است، در غرفه وفا حضور یافتند و ضمن معرفی پناهگاه های وفا، کیف های نقاشی شده توسط سودابه و کالاهایی که هنر دست دیگر دوستان وفا بود، به فروش گذاشتند و توانستند مقادیری برای کمک به دو پناهگاه وفا جمع آوری کنند.

همچنین این دو در کنار نسیمه از دیگر یاران وفا، روز 10 جون غرفه “دوستان وفا” را در این بازار محلی نمایندگی کردند.
