When it comes to dog rescue in particular and dogs’ lives in Iran, it’s not always sad news. After these difficult past few months, Friends of Vafa had some happy and fun moments as well.
As you all know, Friends of Vafa in Canada is also a welcoming team for some lucky dogs from Vafa Shelter who come to Canada either to live or to go to another country such as the US.
In the last month we went to the airport twice to welcome three lucky dogs coming from a very difficult and unfortunate life to Canada. When they arrive, everybody laughs and cries at the same time and this creates the most beautiful scenes at the airport. These happy moments typically end up gaining the attention of other airport visitors a well.
