Thank you to our dearest animal lovers for supporting Friends of Vafa in Canada by coming and spending your day with us.The bazaar was held on January 21st at the Parya Trillium Foundation’s building in Toronto.Friends of Vafa in Canada began with only a few members a few years ago. Mrs. Fatemeh Motamedi, founder of Vafa, is also a member of this group. One of our major activities is to help the shelter financially. To do so, we plan and execute various events, social gatherings, garage sales, and winter bazaars.

The January 2017 winter bazaar was a new experience for us with regards to its size and scope. It was a big success and the results exceeded our expectations. With the participation of many local businesses and companies, visitors were able to shop for a wide range of products. Homemade pastries and cakes, jam and pickled vegetables, nuts, clothes, home decorations, handmade candles, jewelry, and the most delicious of foods made by Iranian women were there for visitors to purchase and enjoy. Music and dance also made the day even more happy and fun. Friends of Vafa in Canada’s team members, led by Giti Safai, planned the event and worked very hard for weeks. We thank all those who helped us and all those who came by and spent the day with us. We thank Parya Trillium Foundation and its president, Mr. Ahmad Tabrizi, for space and all the wonderful resources they provided. Thank you Shahrvand’s Mr. Zaheri and Mrs. Almasi for all the support you continually give us. The bazaar also had a number of financial Sponsors.
