On Saturday, August 19, Friends of Vafa in Canada held its second bazaar in 2017.
The bazaar was just as successful as our last winter bazaar. Besides the usual fundraising and socializing with the public, we were also able to make many new friends and supporters.

Friends of Vafa in Toronto truly came together to donate their time, skills, and products in order to support this great cause. Some of these included: arts and crafts, paintings, jewelry, home decorations and clothing, health and wellness, beauty and cosmetic supplies, and a large collection of pet products. Persian food was also available to eat or to take home. A wide variety of homemade food, pastries, pickled goods, jams, hot, and cold beverages were among the possibilities. Music, dance, and raffles made this day fun for everyone.
Giti, Farimah, Soheila, Farah, Nahid, Amir, Samin, Mansooreh, Fariba, Farnoosh, Armin, Touraj, Reyhaneh, Ali, Sahar, Pantea, Pooya, Pari, Farah, and Fatemeh Motamedi were all in attendance to help. Great artistic work by Soudabeh and Bahareh were also on hand in the absence of their creators.
Parya Trillium Foundation and its president, Mr. Ahmad Tabrizi, as always supported Vafa by donating the use of their space and facilities. For this, we gratefully thank Mr. Tabrizi and Parya’s beautiful team members, especially Ms. Foroozan Jalaeefar who was with us all day long.
Shahrvand Magazine also greatly helped us spread the word about the bazaar and published our ads and posters several times.

روز شنبه 19 آگوست 2017، دوستان وفا در کانادا دومین بازار مستقل خود را با عنوان “بازار تابستانی وفا” برگزار کردند.
این بازار نیز همچون بازار زمستانی با موفقیت همراه بود و ما توانستیم ضمن همراه کردن کاروکسب های مختلف و رونق بخشیدن به بازارمان، بر تعداد حامیان خود نیز بیفزاییم.
داوطلبان وفا در تورنتو همه دست به دست هم دادند و هر چه در توان داشتند ارائه کردند تا بازار متنوع و خوبی فراهم آورند:
کارهای هنری، نقاشی، زیورآلات، وسایل تزئینی، شیرینی، شربت، ترشی و البته چندین نوع غذای خوشمزه ی غیر گوشتی برای تشویق بازدیدکنندگان به گیاهخواری همه حاصل کار جمعی و صمیمانه ی دوستان وفا در کانادا بود.
گیتی، فریماه، سهیلا، ناهید، امیر، سمین، منصوره، فریبا، فرنوش، آرمین، فرح (عینی فر)، تورج، ریحانه، علی، سحر، پانته آ، پویا، پری، فرح و فاطمه معتمدی در بازار حضور داشتند و آثار هنری سودابه و بهاره نیز در غیابشان نماینده آنها بود.
بنیاد پریا و آقای احمد تبریزی رئیس این بنیاد، همچون بازار قبلی پشتیبان ما شدند و سالن بنیاد پریا و امکانات دیگر این بنیاد را به رایگان در اختیار “وفا” قرار دادند، از این بابت از ایشان و همکارانشان بویژه خانم فروزان جلائی فر که صمیمانه ما را همراهی کردند، بسیار سپاسگزاریم.

پشتیبان رسانه ای ما، نشریه ی وزین شهروند بود که همچون گذشته با سخاوت تمام، صفحات خود را در اختیار مطالب و آگهی های وفا قرار داد. از مسئولان نشریه، آقای حسن زرهی سردبیر و خانم نسرین الماسی مدیر تحریریه بسیار سپاسگزاریم.
پشتیبانان دیگر وفا: دکتر رکسانا صالحی، دکتر بابک رضایی، فرشید شریفی، زینا شکرابی، صرافی طاهری، شرکت فیدلیا، دکتر داور بناب، دکتر فرزاد قاضی و المیرا معالی بودند که از آنها صمیمانه سپاسگزاریم.
و اما حضور شما مردم خوب حیوان دوست برای ما پیامی داشت و آن اینکه تلاش های ما دوستان وفا به دیده گرفته شده و ایرانیان هر گوشه ی جهان، هر روز بیشتر از پیش به لزوم حمایت از آنها که صدایی ندارند، آگاه می شوند.
به یاد داشته باشیم که همیشه کارهای بزرگ از قدم های کوچک آغاز می شود.
