Friends of Vafa’s Table at Behnam Nowruz Bazaar

This year, similar to previous years, Vafa participated in the seventh annual Nowruz Bazaar with help and support from our dear friends at Behnam Foundation.

We were thrilled to be present at the Nowruz Bazaar, specially due to the fact that many people were familiar with Vafa Animal Shelter and it’s mission. Therefor we did not have to introduce ourselves, and this left us with extra time to meet and greet animal lovers of Toronto!
All the proceeds from sale of items and the donations that we have received was used to build a fence for dogs rescued from province of Gilan in Iran. Due to lack of budget we had been waiting for months to complete this project, and Nowruz Bazaar made it possible. Now we can see the happiness in their wagging tails while they freely run around in their newly fenced playground.
Vafa’s saving account is empty, and this lack of funds has jeopardized the future of the shelter. So we reach out to you again to say that we need your help more than ever.

غرفه دوستان وفا در بازار نوروزی بهنام

امسال نیز همچون سال های پیش، به لطف دوستان بنیاد بهنام کانادا، دوستان وفا در هفتمین بازار نوروزی این بنیاد غرفه داشت.

حضورمان امسال در بازار نوروزی بسیار خوشحالمان کرد، زیرا که بسیاری ما را می شناختند و کمتر نیاز بود تا خودمان را معرفی کنیم. این سه روز فرصتی بود برای دیدار پیش نوروزی با دوستداران حیوانات در تورنتو. کالاهایی که فروختیم و هدایای مالی که دریافت کردیم، همه صرف فنس کشی حیاط سگ های گیلان در پناهگاه شد. به دلیل کمبود بودجه، ماه ها بود که منتظر فرصتی برای این کار بودیم، و بازار نوروزی در تورنتو به یاری مان آمد و توانستیم شادی را در دم های رقصان سگ های این بخش پناهگاه ببینیم.

صندوق پس انداز پناهگاه خالی ست و این ادامه ی حیات پناهگاه را با مخاطره روبرو کرده است. دست یاری به سویتان دراز می کنیم و می گوییم

بیش از همیشه به کمک هایتان نیاز داریم.
